| The Story of how XSCapacity came about.
While doing some consulting work for a Publicly Traded Hospital Group our founders Steve Krubinski & Dave Dobbins developed an Asset Management Solution to assist their client in managing their freight cost and distribution process. Even though their client's goal was to reduce their transportation cost the solution Steve and Dave brought them also rewarded the carriers. The solution allowed the carriers to improve the profitability of their loads by bidding for shipments that filled their XsCapacity and provided freight for back haul moves. The original company was LTC Quick Bid which was founded 2003. Once Steve and Dave completed the consulting project the moved on to other opportunities and left LTC Quick Bid behind. A few of the carriers that benefited from bidding on the LTC Quick Bid freight began to contact Dave asking for him to resurrect the system. In late 2006 Steve and Dave began to look for start up capital and put together the business plan for XsCapacity. The company officially began doing business as XsCapacity in October 2007. The goal remains the same as it was in 2003, which is to provide a shipment management system for shippers while giving carriers the opportunity to make each load profitable by filling their XsCapacity.
